Sr. DevOps Engineer
Palo Alto, CA
6-12 Months 

Job description:-

The specific role for Sr. DevOps Engineer requires these skills:

- Kubenettes/Marathon/Mesos/Consul a must

- AWS/Google Cloud/

- Ability to move from RPM to Dockers ( essentially from package based to container based environment )

- write saltstack

- add monitoring/sensu checks

- write data back-up scripts

- work on ELK, HBase, Solr, Tomcat

- Docker, Kubernetes

 

 

The tech stack for Symphony is:

Linux (Centos 7) - OS

AWS (EC2)/Google Cloud - Cloud platforms

MongoDB/HBase/Cassandra - Big Data

SaltStack - Deployment automation platform

Sensu/Consul - monitoring

Solr/ElasticSearch - Search and Analytics Engine

Tomcat - webserver

hazelcast - Java based in memory data cache

zookeeper/CHEF/Puppet - config management

NgInx - High performance load balancer
