Explanation for Position:

·         Will be a member of Operations Portfolio development team responsible for high

·         performance, real-time applications that are operations critical for United Parcel

·         Service.

 

Details of Position:

·         Development activities include real-time database driven applications, services andmanagement components.

·         Responsibilities include participation in requirementsanalysis, technical designs, coding, unit testing, product test support, and deployment support.

·         Knowledge, understanding, and experience of designing and developing C# based N-tier client/server applications.

·         Hands on experience with Microsoft SQL. Key skills include but are not limited to: .NET, C#, VB.net, Windows Forms, VB6, ASP, ASP.NET, C++ COM+ using .NET, HTML, SQL Programming, XML,

·         SOA, Multithreading

 

Management Skills:

 

·         Must have Bachelors in Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering. 3-5+

·         year's software development experience with Microsoft platform.

·         Familiarity with all phases of the software development life cycle. Must be able to work effectively in a team environment with other developers, QA personnel, and user representatives.

·         Must have excellent oral communication skills to interact with users and other team members.

·         Must have excellent written communication skills to be able to write concise and understandable project documentation, functional specifications, user

·         manuals and other technical materials.
