Position: Performance Engineer
Location: NYC, NY
Duration: 6+ months
Position Description:
• Ability to quickly assimilate information and gain an intimate understanding of the underlying architecture and technology of existing products
• Developing scripts and running load tests using LoadRunner/HP Performance Center
• Applied experience and analysis in designing, creating, maintaining, and executing performance scripts and log defects in order to recommend better solutions.
• Knowledge of transaction analysis tools like OPNET etc
• Taking ownership of technical issues, and working with development, architecture, infrastructure and engineering groups for
performance testing and application analysis initiatives.
• Performance Tuning - Find the root cause of bottlenecks and suggest performance improvements.
• The candidate should be a good team player and should have excellent project development skills
• Written and verbal skills; excellent phone manner
• Applied experience with LoadRunner/HP Performance Center
• Knowledge of transaction analysis tools like OPNET etc
