Java Programmer/Analyst
Position Summary/Principal Responsibilities - The individual will work on both new application development as well as on the enhancement and maintenance of existing FX Systems applications. Development will include real time trading applications as well as back-end server processes and interfaces to other applications. The individual would be involved in all phases of the project life cycle from requirements gathering/refining to post implementation maintenance and support. The individual would work in close collaboration with other team developers.

Skills/Abilities - The individual should have strong requirements, analysis, design, development, testing, documentation and communication skills, and the ability to work in a team environment. The individual should have experience working on real time transaction processing systems and web applications. A minimum of 5+ years Java development experience, preferably at a financial services company, and a BS/MS in Computer Science or a related field. The individual should have expertise with the following technologies: JEE (MDB, EJB), RAD/Eclipse, WAS, Spring, Hibernate, Oracle, SqlServer, PL/SQL, Maven, SVN, xslt 2.0. The individual should be a quick learner and be able to work independently in a dynamic and fast paced environment. Knowledge of Foreign Exchange or other trading markets is a plus. Must have experience with the Agile Methodology
