Hi,

We have a requirement with our direct client for a SR Level Automation Tester

Position: SR Level Automation Tester

Duration: 6 months  

Location: Olympia, WA

 

Skills/Experience Required

·       Minimum 8 years in QA/testing.

·       Strong experience in designing, implementing and maintaining software test automation frameworks/solutions;

·       Proven skills in developing, documenting and implementing automation testing standards and guidelines;

·       Strong expertise in building complex automated test scripts using HP Quick Test Pro;

·       Strong expertise in developing performance test plans, creating and maintaining test scenarios/scripts forperformance, load and stress testing using LoadRunner / VS Ultimate;

·       Good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle processes and development methodologies;

·       Experience in application development using programming languages such as Java or C#;

·       In depth knowledge of the QA testing principles and strategies;

·       Strong experience in manual testing, developing test plans and writing test cases;

·       Strong experience in working with relational databases and backend testing using complex SQL queries;

·       Strong hands on experience with test management tool, HP ALM/Quality Center;

·       Experience in logging and tracking defects using IBM Rational ClearQuest;

·       Experience in working with version control systems such as SVN, VSS or TFS;

·       Ability to work independently as well as in a team, work closely with business, testing and development teams;

·       Excellent problem solving, troubleshooting, communication and interpersonal skills

·       Exceptional time management skills and proven ability to meet deadlines.
