Job title::.Net Developer-

Location:: Wellesley, MA

Duration::3-6 Months

 

Seeking a candidate with 5+ years of experience using the .Net Framework (C#) and related Web technologies to architect, design and support complex clinical applications. Candidate must have extremely strong technical design skills and be able to thrive in a fast paced, dynamic environment. The candidate must participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle. 
This individual will work closely with the project manager, analysts and other co-investigators to assist in the architecture, design and development of a patient bedside communication tablet application. The individual will create prototypes quickly to provide user testing while architecting the overall solution in an iterative fashion. Excellent communication and requirements gathering skills are a must. 
Activities include meeting with analysts and co-investigators to review and refine the needs, understanding the projects overall goals, preparing detailed technical designs, working individually and with other developers to code, write test plans and test software, support implementation, compiling and analyzing data, and provide on-going support. 

Principal Duties and Responsibilities 
Confer with designated analysts, co-investigators and project managers to develop the overall tablet solution. 
Participate in all phases of software lifecycle development, particularly in architecting, coding, and implementation. 
Ability to understand and translate application requirements and user needs into software along with demonstrated ability to analyze current and proposed functionality and propose enhancements. 
Write technical design and requirement documents. 
Assist other members of the team with technical support in the development and implementation of the project as needed. 
Perform all other duties as required. 

Qualifications
Bachelor Degree in computer science or related experience 
5+ years of development experience required, preferably in healthcare. 
Skills/Abilities/Competencies Required 
Experience developing Asp.NET applications using C#. 
Experience with MS SQL Server 2008 or above. 
Experience working with Web Services and WCF. 
Experience with web application technologies: JavaScript, Jquery/JQuery Mobile, Html/CSS, XML, IIS administration. 
Experience using Source Control systems like TFS, CVS, Subversion or Git is a plus.
