We presently have an immediate need for a IBM Storage Administrator .

Position: IBM Storage Administrator 

Location: Albany, NY

Duration: 12+ months

[ JOB DESCRIPTION]:

IBM Storage Administrator  

Required Qualifications

6-8years of experience with IBM DS8xxx storage, SVC, and EMC VNX Storage provisioning to hosts

6-8 years of experience with the following hardware: •        IBM DS8300, DS8870 and SVC •        Data Domain DD880 and DD890 •        EMC VNX 5500 and 5700 •        Brocade DCX-4 SAN fabric switch

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Networker backups and restores required

Experience with IBM DS8xxx and SVC storage allocation for block and NFS required

Knowledge/experience with SAN fabric technology required

Experience working in AIX/RHEL environments required

Experience with EMC Data Domain

Experience with EMC VNX storage allocation for block and file

Minimum Education Required: U.S. Equivalent Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a closely related field.
