Need Java Developer
Location: Jersey City, NJ
• Hands-on development experience of 5+ years
• Strong Java with minimum of 5 years
• Strong Object Oriented programming skills
• Strong SQL and database skills, preferably Sybase IQ and DB2
• Experience with automated testing frameworks such as FitNesse and JUnit
• Experience of working on multi-tiered, large scale frameworks and applications
• Initiative/Ownership - The candidate must be self-motivated, with the ability to find creative solutions
• Communication - Possess strong verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in .Net C# is a plus
• Experience with Columnar Databases, especially Sybase IQ, is a plus
• Experience working with an Agile approach to Software Development is a plus.
• Financial Services - Experience with financial or regulatory systems is a plus.
• Experience in Relational Data modeling is a plus
