Position: Informatica Powercenter Lead
Location: Minneapolis, MN
Job Requirement:
· Experience in analysis, design, and development into OLAP environment with experience using Informatica with ParAccel a must.
· Knowledge and experience in data warehouse development life cycle, requirements analysis, dimensional modeling, Repository management and administration, implementation of STAR, Snowflake schemas; Incremental loads, Change Data Capture and slowly changing dimensions.
· Adept in creating complex mappings using various transformations, and developing strategies for Extraction, Transformation and Loading (ETL) mechanism by using Informatica 9.x
· Skilled in source systems analysis and data extraction from various sources such as Flat files, Oracle, and other heterogeneous data sources.
· Capability in business requirements gathering, define and capture metadata for business.
Skill and Experience Details:
· Should have minimum of 7 to 10 years of IT project experience.
· Should have minimum of 4 to 5 years of experience architecting ETL Feeds in the role of a Technical Lead for ETL Architecture, Design and implementation.
· Should have experience in Design and Implementation of ETL solution in at least two DWH development projects.
· Should have expertise in data standardization and data modeling (i.e. conceptual, logical and physical model design, experience with ODS, EDWH and DM).
· Should have expert knowledge in at least one leading ETLTools (Informatica, AbInitio, Data Stage etc.) Should have expert knowledge on RDBMS and PL/SQL skills.
· Should have functional knowledge of Enterprise architectures.
· Should have functional knowledge of coding languages like Java, J2EE and .Net and scripting languages like shell scripts on Unix.
