Job Description:
The Salesforce.com (SFDC) Senior Developer will be responsible for technical development within CLIENT’s SFDC ecosystem, which includes the CLIENT product suite and many other SaaS applications in addition to SFDC.
This position requires an advanced level of understanding SFDC's internal architecture and Force.com technologies, including the ability to be "hands-on with Force.com.
The successful candidate will understand how other SaaS applications integrate to SFDC, including our Financial system (Intacct), and will be able to provide oversight and assistance to the SFDC user community and super users.
Responsibilities:
· Technical Responsible for development within CLIENT's overall Force.com environment.
· Ensures that standards are followed. Maintains proper change control over all Force.com objects
· Guides the Tech Lead and Sr. IT Director in making architecture decisions and assists with SaaS product evaluations and selections
· Provides assistance to SFDC super users throughout CLIENT System Administration
· Directs and enforces security controls for all levels of security Oversees basic administration of CLIENT's SFDC instance including object and field definition, structure, documentation, long range requirements, operational guidelines, protection and licensing
· Responsible for reliability of master data maintained on the platform
· Formulates and monitors policies, procedures and standards relating to all platform usage and performance
· Responsible for ongoing support requests and administrative needs of users
· Defines SLA reports, dashboards, and processes to continuously monitor service quality, integrity and performance.
· Serves as a point of contact to Salesforce.com's
· Premier Support and Premier Admin services Application and Process Improvement
· Assists users to identify, document, and communicate standard business processes as they related to use of the platform
· Assists management to identify new and creative opportunities to leverage the platform to support additional business processes or functions
· Vendor Coordination Manages outsourced Salesforce.com implementation partners as required
· Aggressively manages SFDC licenses to maintain costs for the enterprise Training and Documentation
· Monitors user adoption rates and responds as needed (additional training sessions, communication, modifications, or other resources)
Required Skills/ Experience:
· Technical skills 5+ years related experience
· BS in Computer Science or related field Salesforce.com Certification
· In depth expertise in SFDC environment and related applications; Force.com coding experience
· Demonstrated success in managing SaaS providers
· Hands-on experience in delivering products and services in a SaaS environment
· Knowledge of current and emerging technologies
· Process and results oriented Soft skills Able to plan and execute effective technical solutions
· Strong analytical and problem solving skills
· Ability to evolve with a rapidly changing environment and anticipate changes in technology
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an ability to summarize and present findings or challenges to all levels of staff and management
