Location: Fort Worth, TX   

Contract Terms: 12month

Systems Engineer – Wintel/BMC Bladelogic 

Position Description 
Position is based in Southlake area of Fort Worth TX. 

BMC BladeLogic Patching Tool & System Center Configuration Manager Tool. 

·         Work with security on Server security and lockdown related issues.

·         Support and maintenance of a hosted services environment comprised of Microsoft Windows operating systems, Active Directory, VMware, and Citrix terminal services.

·         Support and maintenance of hardware comprised of multiple server hardware platforms.

·         Day-to-day support and participation in any related projects by providing technical insight and hands on support.

·         Analyzes problem, develops and implements solutions, and makes decisions that significantly improve system availability.

·         Resolves escalated complex issues within established timeframes while providing quality customer service.

·         Develop and implement written policies, standards, and guidelines related to areas of responsibility.

·         Meet or exceed defined performance metrics and service level agreements.

·         Works closely with Engineering and other technical business units to increase knowledge and resolve customer issues.

·         Mentors others in providing validated technical information, support process instructions and special support requirements.

·         Provide on-call support on a rotating basis.

·         Provide support during non-business hours when required. 

Position Requirements:

·         Need to have -BMC BladeLogic Patching Tool & System Center Configuration Manager Tool. 

·         Windows Systems Administration

·         Installation and Configuration of all windows servers operating systems

·         Installation, trouble shooting of Service Packs and Security Updates with roll back procedures

·         Windows 2008/2003/XP/2000 LAN, VLAN and VPN technologies.

·         Understanding of firewall requirements for windows

·         Windows server lockdown procedures

·         Good understanding of TCP/IP & windows networking.

·         Basic VB or DOS scripting.

·         Understanding of Active Directory structure and its components.

·         File / Directory level Security permissions on Windows.

·         Knowledge on Group policy & Local security policy on windows operating systems.
