Role: UI Designer/Developer

Location : LOUISIANA

Duration : 6+ month

 

User Interface Designer/Developer that will coordinate, plan, and implement overall digital user experience strategy in support of the corporate web strategy.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

·         Serve a visionary role in identification and development of interactive components to deliver best-in-class integrated user experiences, and serves as a key player in company efforts in web usability testing and research.

·         Work with multiple departments to design, develop and configure websites, landing pages, microsites, and digital advertising assets (including mobile and social media components), taking creative design to HTML.

·         Develop web user interfaces and digital assets and work closely and collaboratively with lead UI/UX designer, backend IT developers and a cross functional team to generate and deliver UI specifications for new features.

·         Collaborate on the creation of wireframes, owns the creation of visual design assets and assists in converting to code as well as collaborate with QA to ensure quality of deliverables.

·         Assist in designing visual assets for digital marketing campaign including social media, landing pages, responsive assets and web banner advertisements.

EXPERIENCE:

·         4 years of experience with relevant internet technologies and with implementing, administering, and supporting consumer-facing websites (this includes web UI design and implementation/front-end development experience for business application and consumer website user interfaces).

·         Must have a solid understanding of User-Centered Design (UCD) principles, web standards and best practices and HTML,CSS, and AJAX amd in-depth knowledge of current online technologies and the principles of web design, development and information exchange.

·         Experience in Web-oriented technology such as CSS/CSS3, HTML/HTML5, jQuery, Responsive Web Design as well as design and page building software including Adobe Photoshop/ Fireworks, Dreamweaver.

·         Hands-on experience with implementation and performance tuning of cross-browser, cross-platform, and design constraints, issues and fixes on the web.

·         Bachelor’s degree in computer science, ISDS, Web Design, Visual Arts, Graphic Design, Human Computer Interaction or equivalent is required.
