Role is for a SQL and C# developer working for Market Risk system.

 

A candidate is expected to interact with users to determine requirements, collaborate on all aspects of the design of the application, develop, and test.
 A candidate is expected to manage the development of different areas of the application independently and collaborate with the team.

 

Required Skills and Qualifications:

 

- Excellent SQL knowledge
- Knowledge of C# and Object Oriented technics is preferred

- Prior experience developing applications for financing industry
- Middle tier application development knowledge and Messaging and/or real-time system design

- Experience on a number of different data manipulation intensive financial systems, which are technically similar to SPT Risk; thus bringing experience and useful backend-specific knowledge to the team

 

Desired Skills:

- Excellent communications, analytics, and design skills.
- Experience with risk, VaR, mortgages trading and pricing.

 

Necessary Technology or Application Experience:

- SQL

- .NET

- WCF

 

Education:

- BS in Computer Science. 

- Finance knowledge is preferred

 

Years of Experience:

- 5-10 Years
