Data warehouse Architect(10+ years)
Location: Peoria, IL
Duration: 2 years…or will take someone perm if we want
I'm looking for a Datawarehouse lead or arch that can come in and build the site from scratch. They are using all Microsoft/SQL Server based tools. This can be contract/contract to hire or Perm.
BI/ETL stuff is no longer important mentioned in the below requirement is no longer important.

Experience, Education, and Certifications
- Required Experience: 10 years experience as a data/information architect including BI/DW technologies
- Recommended Certifications: MCSE – Business Intelligence, MCITP
- Experience in complete life cycle of design, development and implementation of data warehousing projects including specifically designing enterprise data model; Creating OLAP Cubes, star schemas and data architecture; logical and physical database design, and business intelligence reporting
- Proven track record of successful BI solution design and implementation.
- Proven Track record of successful data architecture solution delivery and involvement
- Working knowledge of fundamentals across data modeling and data architecture
- Strong understanding of Dimensional and Star Schema data modeling
- Strong understanding of Relational Database concepts including SQL.
- Thorough knowledge of data warehouse design and ETL Development methodologies and best practices
- Experience delivering formal designs to teams of developers.
- Experience reviewing requirements with the business users and business analysts.
- Experience in presenting and demonstrating solutions to clients
- Experience in utilizing full life-cycle development methodologies
- Hands-on knowledge of enterprise repository tools, data modeling tools, data mapping tools, and data profiling tools
- Ability to manage data and metadata migration
