Role: Oracle Fusion Apps DBA
Location: Charlotte, NC
Duration: 12 + Months
Description:
Selected candidate is expected
• To install, configure and manage Oracle Applications, Oracle Fusion Applications and Fusion Middleware
• To serve as a technical expert in recommending architecture solutions using Oracle's Fusion Applications, Oracle Fusion Middleware and Oracle e-Business suite by closely working with Solution Architects for potential customers
Required Experience:
• Minimum 5+ years of Architecture/Installation/Configuration/Administration/Upgrading/Patching experience in various recent releases of Oracle Fusion Applications and Oracle Fusion Middleware
• Minimum 8+ years of solid Oracle Core DBA experience with various recent DB releases
• Oracle SOA experience in any or a combination of Web Logic, OSB, BPEL, AIA, ADF, BPM and BAM
• Advanced architecture knowledge and solid experience in running Oracle EBS/FA applications on Real Application Clusters
• Sizing and Capacity planning experience for Oracle FA/FMW customers
• Experience in administrating all Apps DBA activities associated with managing the entire software stack/footprint for clients running Oracle FA/FMW
• Experience with Middle Tier SSO and DMZ architectures
• Must have strong Oracle Database Administration experience with configuration, load balancing, backup/recovery, sizing and space management, PL/SQL tuning, diagnostics, and proficient with the use of Oracle's Enterprise Manager tool
• Experienced in advanced troubleshooting techniques to perform deep root cause analysis (RCA)
Preferred Experience:
• Experience in Advanced Supply Chain and Demand Planning (ASCP), VCP and Demantra is highly desirable
• Previous experience in performing OS System Administration and scripting is preferred
