Healthcare QA.

Irvine, CA

6+ months

 

We need a Sr. IT Quality Assurance Analyst for a 6+ month contract assignment with a major Healthcare client in Irvine, CA.

This person will be part of a 3-person QA team, within an overall IT team of 60 staff.

Note: The ideal candidate will have recently finished a contract with UHG so that he/she can be on boarded very quickly (this is a nice-to-have, not mandatory)

 

Job responsibilities include:

·         Assist in planning, preparing and executing system and regression testing of application and systems software releases.

·         Develop, execute and maintain test plans from requirement/design documentation for the product releases.

·         Design, develop and maintain/enhance the QA automation software.

·         Design, implementation and documentation of test cases and addition of these test cases to the automated test suites, administer and maintain defect training tool and conduct UAT sessions

·         Track and report on test status.

·         Solid experience in MS SQL required.

·         Must have solid QA experience.

·         5-7 years of data validation experience required.

·         A minimum of 6 years of experience Windows client/server and web based applications required.

·         Must have knowledge of business workflow modeling techniques and systems development lifecycle methodology.

 

Abilities/Skills –

·         Strong experience with QA processes and methodologies required; automated and manual test processes, test cases design, scripting, execution, automated test tools, regression testing.

·         Stress, load and performance test tool(s) experience is highly desired

·         Experience in implementing an automated test environment required.

·         Development experience with C#.net, ASP.net preferred
