Job Description:

 

Responsibility –Oracle Hyperion Planning &Essbase developer with ability to architect, design, build, maintain planning applications. Candidate must demonstrate extensive knowledge and experience in all facets of Hyperion Planning and Essbase applications with strong proficiency in solution design, development, implementation, day to day maintenance and troubleshooting 

 

Essential:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, and/or Information systems with7-9 years of overall experience

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

·         Lead Implementation of Hyperion Planning and reporting applications including gathering system requirements, design and build, testing and go live

·         Design, develop and configure Hyperion Planning application components including Essbase, web forms, business rules, calc. scripts, reports and security

·         Design and develop reporting and database solutions that leverage data from Hyperion Planning and Oracle ERP applications.

·         Maintain ESSBASE outlines, calc. scripts, and data loads.

·         Need expertise in Planning web forms, task lists and security.

·         Hyperion Essbase (both BSO and ASO)

·         MAXL scripting

·         MDX scripting

·         Calculation scripts

·         SQL coding

·         Essbase Automatons

·         6-8 years of experience in providing solutions with Hyperion Planning and Essbase (must have Version 11.x experience)

·         Completion of 2-3 full lifecycle Hyperion Planning implementations

·         5+ years of experience leading financial planning and reporting implementations across all phases of the project lifecycle

·         Expertise with Hyperion reporting tools – Financial Reporting Studio, Smartview and WebAnalysis

·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to interact with finance teams at all levels

·         Detail oriented and ability to work independently with little supervision

·         Strong analytical skills

·         Ability to lead projects and be a team player
