We are looking for a qualified candidate to work in our Financial Systems Development team as Sr. ETL Developer to design, develop, implement and maintain system solutions for CCAR Q&M Platform by leveraging Oracle, PL/SQL, Informatica technologies.
Major Responsibilities:
• Design, Implement and support customized code, interfaces, and reports for the implementation and ongoing development and operations of CCAR Q&M Platform. Early identification of development issues and corrective action to mitigate issues is required with these responsibilities.
• Responsibilities include other elements of technical support, for the analysts and users, such as bug analysis, patch testing and application, and support requirements analysis and customization design.
• Work within a disciplined change-and-configuration management environment to maintain control over the development and introduction of new function to the operations. Influence the change control team on best practices of handling code migrations between environments.
• Help define the coding standards for the entire application. Develop detail-level design documents from functional requirements and adhere to the development and naming standards established.
• Create technical design documents, build code using SQL, PL/SQL and informatica ETL
• Troubleshoot production issues and performance tuning of various components
• Work with various IT teams including DBAs, Informatica Admins, Operations and technology support teams
• Participate in the rollout of any changes to the production environment and the setting of new standards using change control, documentation, and full communication with the operations and support
• Documentation of all development and making sure the off-shore support team does that same.
• Second level support for development/production support issues.
Qualifications
• College degree, preferably a B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems or a related field or the equivalent
• 10+ years of experience in Informatica
• Prior experience in banking/financial services industry is desirable
• Strong knowledge in data warehousing and experience in mapping techniques for Type 1, Type 2 and Type 3 Dimensions
• Extensive experience in debugging
• Strong data modeling skills
• Solid experience in implementing business requirements, error handling
• Expertise in analysis of functional specifications
• Expertise in technical documentation
• Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix, shell scripting
• Strong knowledge of Oracle, SQL, PL/SQL
• Experience in Autosys is a must
• Experience in SDLC, Software Design, Software Documentation, Software Testing
• Experience with CCAR (Comprehensive capital Analysis and Review) Q&M
