Position    = Sr .Teradata DBA
Location  = New York City, NY (Local OR Near BY)
Duration  = 6 + months

 

Interview =  Face to Face

 

Duties and Responsibilities:
Create, maintain, and support the Teradata architectural environment for BIAAS project.
Manage physical database design
Manage production objects in change control environment
Develop proactive processes for monitoring capacity and performance
Perform system level and application level tuning
Support the application development teams for database needs and guidance
Perform backup and recovery operations
Support production and DR processes
Support end-user queries
Administer database security
Provide on-call support

 

Minimum Qualifications:
7+ years experiences as a Teradata Database Administrator handling 25+ TB data environment (3+ years as Senior/Principle DBA)
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Management or related technical disciplines
Recommended Certifications: Teradata Advanced Certified Professional Teradata Certified Administrator Teradata Master

 

Technical Skills:
Preferred: 5+ years experiences of Physical Data Modeling using ErWin 5+ year experience in Unix Environment, familiar with Unix Scripting 5+ years experiences as Programmer/System Analyst
Aprimo experience a plus.
