We are looking for Technology Lead - Big Data Hadoop to support world's leader in providing IT consulting and software services to the finest global organizations client.
This is 6 Months Contract position based in Irving, TX.
 
Role: Technology Lead - Big Data Hadoop
Location: Irving, TX
Duration: 6 Months Contract
 
Cassendra,  CouchBase, STORM, SOLR and  Kafka.
 
We are looking for a resource to fit in the Technology Lead or Technical Architect role with at least 8-9 years of working experience in Hadoop / Big data technologies and strong working knowledge on Cassendra,  CouchBase, STORM, SOLR and  Kafka.  Good Working knowledge on Hadoop architecture, Pig and Hive scripting, Java, J2EE framework, Java webservices (SOAP), Oozie scheduler and Unix Scripting is expected.
 
Job Description:
Qualifications Basic
•          Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required. Will also consider one year of relevant work experience in lieu of every year of education
•          At least 8-9 years of working experience in Hadoop / Big data technologies.
•          Good Working knowledge on Cassendra,  CouchBase STORM, SOLR, Kafka
•          Working knowledge on Hadoop architecture, Pig and Hive scripting
•          At least 3 years of working experience in core Java, J2EE framework, Java webservices (SOAP)
•          At least 3 years of working experience in customer and product domain implementations
•          Knowledge on Oozie scheduler.
•          UNIX scripting knowledge is a must.
Preferred
•          Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment Analytical skills
•          Experience to Retail, CPG domain
•          Analytical skills
•          Experience and desire to work in a management consulting environment that requires regular travel
