Description:
• Architect & Design complex MicroStrategy Reports, Dashboards and Visualizations in an enterprise environment
• Deep experience in collaboration with users to understand functional requirements and presenting solution options
• Proficient in UX design and good experience with dashboard solutions.
• Solid experience with the following MicroStrategy 9+ components: Architect, Desktop, Visual Insights, Mobile, Web, Schema Objects, MicroStrategy Administrator, OLAP Services, Intelligence Server, Object Manager
• Proficiency with MicroStrategy - Dynamic Dashboard, Flash Widget design, Report development, Mobile Application development and project design: Facts, Attributes, Hierarchies, Aggregation, Security, Portal Integration, etc.
• Performance Tuning of MicroStrategy Reports (Optimization, Caching, Intelligent Cubes, etc.)
Experience in configuring, governing, trouble shooting, tuning Intelligence Server, Web Server and NarrowCast Server
• Experience on MicroStrategy Security Administration with exposure to administering large number of users and groups
• Strong experience with Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing design principles, industry best practices and MicroStrategy suite of analytical tools.
• Strong experience with implementation of ad-hoc reporting functionality in MicroStrategy.
Experience working with the full life cycle development process, which includes analysis, design, development, testing & deployment
• Excellent Written and Verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with IT & business teams
• Leverages SQL skills to optimize, analyze, and improve database SQL performance.
• Develop and tune queries for ad hoc, canned reporting, and dashboard use.
• MicroStrategy Certification would be a great plus

• Should have at least 5-6 years' experience in designing the MicroStrategy projects
• Should have very good hands-on in his previous project in creating the metrics and dashboards
• Should have sufficient SQL knowledgeJOB DESCRIPTION:
• Strong experience in MicroStrategy Architect role where one should be able to create and manage Projects, be able to manage project configuration, creation of Schema Objects (Facts & Attributes), creation of MSTR Objects (Metrics, filter, prompts, custom groups, consolidations, reports).
• Strong experience in building logical data models/Datawarehouse structures/user hierarchies in MicroStrategy
• Strong experience in gathering user requirements for Dashboard creation and creating Interactive documents, complex dashboards based on user requirements. Required expertise in designing the dashboards from scratch, using available templates and widgets.
• Strong experience required in creating and testing the test scenarios based on user requirements for MicroStrategy report/dashboard developments
• Strong experience required in understanding the datasets and creation and maintenance of iCubes
• Strong experience required in understanding and optimizing the iCubes/report/document/dashboard performance for meeting user expectations on report/dashboard performance
• Experience with SDK and MicroStrategy Mobile modules are plus
• Relevant experience on Administration activity including I-server-setup/configuration, web server set-up configuration, Desktop configuration, Mobile server (if any) configuration, Object Migration, Schedule set-up, cache configuration, etc.
• Relevant experience required in working with Datawarehouse teams (Database and ETL teams) to create MicroStrategy logical data model, metadata, Datawarehouse structures, and user hierarchies.
• Relevant experience working with Informatica ETL tool and Relational databases (Netezza and Teradata)
