Job Description

JD : · At least 5 years+ of fundamental experience in Business Intelligence, ideally within a manufacturing industry · Expert knowledge of Cognos BI (version 10.2) and analytics, and Data Integration tools (Informatica) & languages (ETL/SQL) · Develop Business Intelligence Reports and Dashboards using the Cognos Suite v10.2.x · Understand the business concepts behind the reporting specifications, especially in a manufacturing environment · Functional Design experience in Dashboards and Reports . Experience on collecting and analyzing data to produce Business Intelligence dashboards and reports related to the various functions of the business (Finance, Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain and Operations) · Produce technical design documentation including logical data models and detailed reporting specifications consistent with the reporting requirements. · Framework Manager modeling and Report Studio authoring including MDX · Strong SQL and Data Modeling skills · Knowledge of structured data, such as entities, classes, hierarchies, relationships and metadata. · Knowledge of database management system (DBMS) physical implementation, including tables, joins and SQL querying. · Ability to combine data from multiple sources when needed for the analysis. · Familiarity with the use cases, business purposes and quality of the data. · Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills. Fluent English will be essential and any other EU language would be beneficial · Ability to understand and analyze the existing business processes and environment along with the user requirements. Excellent ability to liaise with business owners, influence and guide them.
