Title: Automation Engineer
Client: Comcast
Location: Philadelphia, PA 19103
Duration: Long term rolling contract
Interview Process: Technical phone screen followed by a face-to-face personal interview at the vendor and/or candidate's expense.
Job Description:
· Experience building and managing APIs with a good understanding of monitoring platforms and 3rd party tools such as Service Now, JIRA
· Work with an Agile application engineering and operations teams to design and implement automated tasks in a variety of different methods based on best practices
· Provide documentation and training on developed tools
Requirements:
· 2+ years of a scripting language. (Perl or Python preferred)
· 2+ years of automation experience.
· Preferred to have worked in an operations type environment.
· 2+ years' experience with a monitoring tool.
