Role: Set Top Box QA Tester
Location: Wayne PA
Duration: 6 - 8 + months
Phone interview and F2F REQUIRED
Required Skills:
· Consultant needs STB (Set to box) expertise to be considered.
· Writing and executing Test cases based on the Business requirement of the Application.
· Test different kind of Set top boxes i.e. High definition (HD), Standard definition (SD), DVR, non DVR boxes.
· Provisioning of set top boxes.
· Testing the compatibility of the set top boxes on various inputs like HDMI, Composite, Component and S-Video.
· Testing different features of the application such as DVR , Guide, Parental Controls, VOD, Games, xDVR, xR2 remote, ClickStream, EAS, SDV, eTV, VCPE streams and other functionalities.
· Using Hyper terminal collected reset logs and even find the set top box state.
· Understanding the requirements and developing or modifying the test suites for system testing and putting them in HPQC.
