PeopleSoft HR Integration Consultant

 

Location: Columbus, OH

Duration: 6+ Months

Rate : Open

 

Job Description:

The PeopleSoft HR Senior Integration Consultant will be responsible for developing integrations required to integrate PeopleSoft schedules with third party scheduling tool. This will include designing, planning, coding and documenting technical solutions; testing, debugging, fixing and retesting those technical solutions and preparing for migrations to a Production environment.  Responsibilities will also include providing end user support; troubleshooting and resolving problems; designing application process changes, writing specifications for them, and developing the solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Develop SOAP based synchronous and asynchronous services to integrate with third party application.
• Work with business to determine functional requirements for initiatives where appropriate.
• Able to scope effort and provide estimates.
• Able to translate functional requirements to technical requirements.
• Analyze, document, and evaluate alternative solutions within a team environment.
• Translate business processes into technical solutions.
• Develop reporting solutions utilizing BI/XML Publisher, SQR, Application Engine, Query, and other tools.

Qualifications

• Expertise in  PeopleSoft Integration Broker ,  Web Services , XML, XSLT , WSDL and Application Messaging,
• Experience with Time & Labor is preferred.
• Good  knowledge of PeopleSoft HCM suite of products, including but not limited to HR, Payroll, Time & Labor, Self Service and Absence Management
• Experience must include: People tools 8.52 or higher in App Engines, CI's, People Code, Application Package, SQR, SQL, XML, AWE and workflow.
• Knowledge of Oracle database platform in LINUX environment.
• Able to navigate technical issues and evaluate risk.
• Excellent organization skills and attention to detail, including the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and activities.
• Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
