Position: Production Support Analyst/System Analyst
Location Birmingham, AL
Duration: 6+ Months

 

Must Have:

·         Strong Linux Background- ability to understand error codes in Linux

·         Production Support

·         AWS Experience required

·         Great Communication

 

We are looking for a Technical Support Engineer to work in a multi-disciplinary team creating World-Wide Scale Service Platform for Banking Services in the cloud. Your primary responsibility will be to analyze, troubleshoot and solve issues related to the various architectural pieces, and to coordinate with the rest of the team understanding the different layers of the infrastructure. Thus, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, adopting new technologies, and quality communication is essential.

 

Required Knowledge/Skils (Excellent organization skills, etc.) and IT Skills (ex. Programming skills with Java, Cobol, etc.)

·         2-4+ years of experience

·         Strong technical background, and experience using Linux

·         Proficiency with Public Cloud platforms (IaaS/PaaS) like AWS (preferred), OpenStack, GCE, etc.

·         Monitoring tools like Dyntrace, Nagios, Munin, Zenoss, etc.
