Identity and Access Management (IAM) Project Manager/Business Analyst
Job Description:
· We are seeking an Identity and Access Management (IAM) Project Manager/Business Analyst for a 12 month engagement with a Fortune 500 client, located in the LA/Thousand Oaks, CA area.
· This IAM PM/BA position will be responsible for coordinating the long and short-term vision and objectives for access management in coordination with other organizational objectives.
· This position will be responsible for the general management of the analysis, design, and implementation/integration of multiple IAM solutions and will have first line responsibility for ensuring program deliverables and timeframes are met.
· The overall objective of this project will be to implement a Single Sign-On (SSO) solution, utilizing OKTA that will provide business users with access to numerous internally and externally hosted systems. Additionally, the internal SSO solution must be fully integrated with Exostar Life Sciences Hub and a comprehensive IAM capability for managing external users must be developed.
Responsibilities include:
· Interface with client in communicating and aligning on project expectations
· Manage overall project and direct multiple project teams in coordination with customer direction to define, develop, and implement customer IAM vision and associated technology solutions.
· Interview key stakeholders to collect and document business requirements
· Map out user access needs and role-based security groups
· Facilitate and help shape future state solution architecture and business processes
· Liaise with business users, customer IS, service providers to coordinate the IAM implementation activities
· Manage project plan, coordinate internal & external activities, and resolve project issues
· Interface with other technical areas to ensure that system integration and implementation is achieved
· Coordinate testing, assessment, and documentation in compliance with program requirements and standards.
· Ensures all processes are followed to meet customer compliance requirements for development, security, regulatory, etc.
· Maintains all appropriate technical documentation.
· Maintains quality assurance over project deliverables and activities.
· Develops and presents status briefings to customer management.
· Job Requirements
· Minimum 6 years of applicable project management experience.
· Minimum of 3 years identity and access management experience, including IAM architecture and associated security.
· Ability to manage large and complex technical projects and programs with multiple stakeholders.
· Ability to establish plans and timelines, and to organize, assign and manage the work of multiple teams.
· Ability and experience in working with external vendors
· Experience in the analysis and design of security of technical solutions.
· Knowledge of industry standard authentication/authorization protocols & IAM solutions such as NTLM and Kerberos, SAML, OAuth, Microsoft Active Directory, OUD, Open LDAP, OKTA, Ping, Centrify, etc.
· Ability to provide communicate/translate technical concepts to business users and provide feedback to teams and customers, monitor progress, and report results.
