Software Developer
Location: Holmdel, NJ
Duration: 3 Months
GC or US Citizens ONLY
Essential Job Functions
· Ability to take project from scoping requirements through actual launch of the project including hands on development
· Knowledge of best practices for full development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build process, testing and operations
· Collaborate with other development teams including quality assurance, operations, product and business
· Stay up-to-date with latest back-end technology trends
· Must have excellent technical communication skills
Specific Requirements (Technical Knowledge, Software, Etc.)
· 5+ years professional experience in building server side platforms using Java and JVM based languages
· Experience in developing applications against SQL and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, etc.)
· Solid understanding of webservice technologies such as HTTP, REST, SOAP, XSD and WSDL
· Knowledge of performance considerations and understanding large scale engineering challenges
· Ability to troubleshoot issues in a full-stack environment
Additional Skills (would like to have but not required)
· Familiarity with at least one of the CRMs like Salesforce, Clio and Zendesk
· Familiarity with PHP and other high-level programming languages like Ruby, Python
Education
· BS or MS in computer science or related field
