Feedback from Client we need to replace consultant with a very senior hands on dev ops resource with Java, chef and strong architecture background
Need someone that can just take it and run with it if client manager wasn't there. Current consultant seems to be order taker.
Need someone with a developer (Java..) background – This resource looks like he doesn't and was on the admin side of things.
Need a DevOps type of person
• Strong Test Driven Development, Continuous Delivery, Pair programming
• Experience with Systems Integration
• Experience with Event Driven Architectures
• Chef capable
• Infrastructure as code DNS, Load Balancer, Certificates, Firewalls
• Physical/L2/L3 experience
• Data center and SDN experience a bonus
• Design Patterns (Gamma et. Al)
• CQRS and Event Sourcing experience (Read and watched suggested material - minimum)
• Enterprise integration patterns
• Configuration Management and Software Deployment Automation
• Openstack
• Ubuntu / RHEL Administration and Automation
• Strong Test Driven Development, Continuous Delivery, Pair programming
