Role:               Web Accessibility Specialist
Location:        Columbus, Ohio
Duration:       12 Months Contract

MOI:               Telephonic + Skype

 

Exp. Required: 5 years

 

Rate : $45/ hr. on c2c max

 

Accessibility, WCAG 2.0, W3C, ADA Compliance (Mandatory)

 

Technical/Functional Skills

   -Over all 5+ years of Experience with minimum 3+ years' experience in web accessibility.

 

    -Strong knowledge on web application design, development and implementation experience in Java based applications.

 

    -Skills and working knowledge on web accessibility principles, techniques, and guidelines.

 

    - Experience in evaluating and implementing the W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 of various Digital assets such as Web Applications, Native Mobile Applications, PDFs and Emails to meet ADA Compliance.

 

    - Experience in implementing projects following agile methodologies.

 

    -Ability and experience in providing technical trainings, presentations, and support.

 

    -Assistive technology expertise, particularly with common screen readers.

 

    -Proactive and self-motivated team player with excellent analytical and interpersonal skills.

 

 

Roles & Responsibilities:

Perform End-to-End Accessibility verification and remediation of Digital assets such as Web applications, Native applications, PDF, Emails etc.,

Guide application teams to design and develop applications based on Web Accessibility Standards & Guidelines

Conduct Technical Trainings and Provide Assistance & Support to Application teams.
