Duration                              -             6+ months

Interview Mode               -             Phone, Code Exercise, Paired Programming Interview (Candidate MUST be willing to complete each step)

Rate                                       -             $45-52/hr

 

Candidate MUST be Green Card or US Citizen

We would like to find candidates who have:

• Solid experience in DevOps - I'd like to continue looking at candidates who have a few years in the arena
• Ability to solution in ways which are simplistic and flexible - in other words, the right tools and techniques for the job. Consideration for scalability, a deep understanding of the tools.
• Consulting skills - able to interact with the business customers and have good communication.

 

Job Description:

We're looking for individuals who have experience in Development, Systems Administration, and Application Support; individuals who know how to enable rapid development, automated application promotion from development to production, and operational support.

• Ruby (Serverspec anybody?)
• OpenStack (Nova, Cinder, Swift, Keystone, etc.  Really the whole stack...)

• Java 6/7/8
• Puppet
• Nagios
• ELK
• RIAK
• Kafka
• Flume
• Maven
• Gradle
• Artifactory
• ...and the ever ubiquitous shell scripts...

We're not looking for someone who knows all  of those technologies, we're looking for people who know how to use the right technologies in the right places and are passionate about expanding their knowledge about DevOps philosophies.  Obviously knowing everything about our current technology stack is a plus, but you'll still have to learn new things with us.
