Network Storage Consultant

Location: Milpitas, CA(Need locals only)

Duration: 6+ months

Start: Immediate

 

Storage :

General Skillset: 5+ years Hands on experience with EMC Calriion ,

Celerra and Datadomain . Design/provision SAN attached storage for

VMWARE and Exchange and SQL.  SAN switch Brocade administration.

 

Specific Skillset : Migration from  CX3-320  to a VNX5500.Setting up

Fast Cache, Fast VP, and thin pools.  Setting up NAS fileshares,

replication .Installation/configuration  of new Data domains integration

with Netbackup 7.1  and setting up VTL on datadomain.

 

Backup:

General  Skillset : 5+ years Netbackup experience, Netbackup 7.1 with

SLP , VMWWARE backup  using netbackup 7.1  . Netbackup infra is on

Solaris platform so unix knowledge is a prerequisite.

 

Specific Skillset: Setting up netbackup  SLP policies for first copy on

Data domain and second copy on TAPE using OST.

VNX  backup using NDMP to datadomain

 

 

General OS skills: Unix, Linux, VMWare, ESX Windows.
