ROLE: Enterprise System Design Analyst
OVERVIEW/RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Solutions Architecture Team enables timeliness and quality of the solutions being designed, developed, and delivered across the enterprise.
Responsibilities include:
- Solution Architecture Direction - provide proactive and prescriptive direction on translating high level architecture into implementable solutions
- Critical Design Reviews - conduct sample review of architecture, design, and/or code for critical pieces of functionality
- Issue Facilitation - Enable Triage and Case Management capabilities for architectural/technical issues
- Code Quality Assurance - Provide guidance for automating code reviews and test automation
- Address architecture, design, and development issues/topics
- Drive consistency, coordination, and efficiency of design and development activities to optimize delivery success
- Provide a clear set of services enabling smooth integration between platforms in architecture and design implementations
SKILL/EXPERIENCE NEEDED:
- Experience creating large scale distributed web application designs
- Enterprise Architecture knowledge
- Knowledge of the four architecture domains (business, application, data, technical)
- Leadership skills and qualities
- Extensive root cause analysis and problem solving skills and experience
- Gap analysis experience
- Experience with Enterprise Architecture frameworks and tools
- Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) experience
- Experience with Java/Spring frameworks/architecture
- Experience with enterprise Java design patterns
- Experience with open source solutions/technologies
- IT Service Management (ITIL) knowledge
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong relationship building skills
- Customer service focus
- Result oriented individual, able to work with minimal direction or support
- Adaptable, able to quickly shift priorities and adapt to change
