Java Dev/Senior Software Engineer - Sunnyvale, CA
Required:
· 5+ years of industry experience working in Java Server Development
· Expertise in multi-threading, highly-scalable server solution
· SQL DB in highly-scaled application environment – Strong experience
· Hibernate knowledge
· SQL Server knowledge
· Web services experience
o Exp. Building scalable and distributed server applications
o Strong understanding of Distributed Web-Services
· OOA – Object Oriented Analysis exp.
o With associated design skills
· Life-Cycle of Development – solid understanding
· BSCS or Equiv. Degree
Desired:
· Mobile Component knowledge is a plus, but Not required
Job Description:
· Design and develop highly scalable solutions in platform products
o For Production-Facing systems
o NOT just for Client-Server
· Deliver quality software solutions, using standard end-to-end software development cycle
· Unit and integration testing, defect analysis and resolution
o Test end-to-end, using latest mobile technology
o May work independently or with SQA Team
· Agile/Scrum development in a dynamic environment
· OOP – Object Oriented Programming techniques for high performance, high availability enterprise server side software development
· Contribute to the overall design and development of a server system application, using Java and web services in the company and Server infrastructures, to deliver a complete and scalable security platform for mobile application development
· Work with the engineering team to collect and review requirements, design and implement features to meet the requirements
· Using the Agile development methodology, will deliver quality software to end-users and receive feedback on a continuous basis to improve upon the solution delivered
· Work on a product that supports 75 different world-wide devices
· Help service large enterprise companies, through use of the product
o Support Huge Silicon Valley Companies, Top 10 Banks, Healthcare Industry, etc…
