Job Title: CISCO/Network Security Engineer

Location: Houston, TX

Duration: 12+ Months Contract

Rate: DOE

Required Skills:

Thorough understanding of the TCP/IP protocol. 

Experience with network concepts and design. 

Experience with technologies such as nIPS, dynamic routing protocols, VPN, NAT. 

Experience implementing and troubleshooting high availability Firewalls and IPS. 

CCNA and CCNP certifications required. CCNP Security is desirable. 

5+ years' experience in network administration/engineering in a senior or semi-senior position. 

Must be able to interact with internal/external parties and should be able to effectively communicate complex issues in a clear and concise manner. 

Must be able to thoroughly document implementations, modifications and removals.   

Must have experience in 24x7 environments 

Must have experience within the following category and product lines 

Firewall: Cisco ASA 

Management systems: 

Cisco Security Manager: administrator experience 

JunOS Space (nice to have) 

IPsec VPN: Cisco ASA 

Network IPS: 

Cisco 

Juniper (nice to have) 

RSA Authentication Manager 

CSMARS, Splunk, LogLogic
