Job Description:
•Obtain a Senior Architect to create a pilot e-Permitting Application that will serve as model for developing additional permitting functions.
•The Department requires technical expertise in the development of common, reusable components that will provide for 'faster time to market' for critical and/or high priority projects such as ePermitting, Outdoor Advertising Devices, Marcellus Shale, and BMS Points Replacement.
•We also require assistance in the following tasks for the initiatives mentioned above: business rules engine setup/deployment, data conversion, data modeling, development of application & system architecture, interfacing with existing department systems, web services, user authentication & security, modification and/or development of application frameworks.
•This will require a Data Architect with advanced skills in all of the areas mentioned as well as extensive knowledge/experience with Client Application Systems. An individual that meets these criteria will reduce and/or eliminate what would amount to a significant amount of time to bring an individual with the skill sets but no relevant Client experience up to speed on the various Client Systems.
