Position:          Oracle DBA

Duration:      6 months

Location:          Tampa FL  or Dallas TX

 

JOB DESCRIPTION

Oracle 11g Performance Tuning & Golden Gate replication DBA  - Tuning experience is mandated

 

Minimum of 12 years’ experience in database administration is required. 

 

Job Description :

• Works closely with client and technical management, and with related support groups (e.g. Data Resource Management, Systems Software Support, Computer Operations),

• Expert in Oracle 11g Database/Server/Query Tuning
• Expert understand of SQL Profiling, baselining, Export/Import of query plans, concepts
• Expert understand of AWR , ADDM,SQL Trace, Explain Plan, PL/SQL Package usage
• Expert knowledge of Database Internals and Performance concepts
• Expert understand Memory management, SQL tuning, statistics gathering,
• Expert knowledge of Oracle Database filesystem , Unix OS Internals/SAN knowledge
• Design and implement databases and database support tools and procedures in support of complex business application development requirements.
• Responsible for performance tuning with the help of ADDM / AWR, Perfstat tools set.
• Perform Database logical and physical Design review and provides expert opinions to the end user.
• Expert knowledge of the Datawarehouse env.
• Hands-on Experience on System Tuning with Muti Terabyte Database with several 100 users on Online system
• Perform Database backup & Recovery using RMAN
• Responsible for the integrity and security of data in these databases.
• Manage the Oracle 11G RAC environment including ASM, Clusterware etc.
• Manage and support databases in Production environment.
