JOB DESCRIPTION:

Duration           :  6 - 9 Months contract

Location           :  Richardson, TX

 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Demonstrable knowledge SQL Server 2008 or 2012 development features at an intermediate to advanced level
• Experience with SSIS, SSRS and SSAS
• Experience creating data models and applying them at physical level
• Good understanding of SQL server internals and its relationship with the OS and hardware
• Knowledge of various optimization approaches and the trade-offs involved
• General experience in a data warehouse environment (hub & spoke model)
• Experience creating data-marts for specific querying requirements
• Familiar with various ETL tools for large data transfer across platforms
• Understanding the large data allocation and partition to maximize throughput within different storage tiers.
• Good knowledge of message queuing service and in-memory data store

 

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical degree
• 8+ years related experience
