Position : BMC Remedy Developer
Location : Raleigh, NC

Top 3 skills:

As a Integration Specialist at client, you will join us in producing products that will enable our customers to simplify and cost effectively manage the physical and virtual infrastructure of their Data Center. This individual would join the product team that produces our industry-leading web and client-server based Data Center Management application. When you join our development team, you will be responsible for designing and developing interfaces between our commercial web based applications and third party CMDB and ITSM tools such as BMC Atrium Remedy and a wide variety of ETL systems using the latest Microsoft AND Java based development tools and application frameworks in our Raleigh, North Carolina office.
Required Skills:
• Solid background in web application development using Microsoft .NET/C# and Java
• A thorough knowledge of software engineering best practices with a proven track record of implementing creative solutions both as an individual and on a team.
• Strong background in using web service in both .NET and Java based environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent
• Strong understanding of object-oriented concepts, design patterns and development processes
• Minimum of 5 years structured software development experience
• Minimum of 4 years experience in relational database design and modeling using MS SQL Server, including strong SQL programming skills
• Minimum of 4 years experience in C#, .NET development.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in Java development including industry standard containers.
• Experience in the design and implementation of ETL systems ensuring proper database architectures, web services, flat file standards and quality assurance policies and procedures.
• Good experience analyzing and validate large volumes of data from different systems
• Development experience with HTML, XML, XSLT, CSS and Web Services is required.
• Exceptional verbal and written communications skills
• A thorough knowledge of software engineering best practices with a proven track record of implementing creative solutions both as an individual and on a team.
• By far the most important skill is the ability to work as a team player. This entails being individually productive--on time and within budget--and working with others in a creative environment to solve problems as a team. It includes team loyalty, contributing ideas, being respectful of others, and the ability to get behind a decision once it is made.
• Candidate must be innovative and motivated by the need to help others solve problems and get things done
Preferred Skills:
• Highly preferred skills include integration experience with BMC Remedy, Atrium, ITSM or Orchastrator tools.
• Experience with integration of large commercial enterprise systems
• Experience with Microsoft WCF and SOA based application architectures
Additional Non-Tech Skills: In addition to the team skills described above, the candidate should have strong technical leadership qualities, and possess good technical writing, presentation, and organizational skills. The candidate must have impeccable ethics and possess the ability to have fun while working hard.
