Job Description:
Positions primary focus is supporting the RF Design Engineers and help project manage the following 2014 LTE Capacity projects:
1. Small Cell SCARFS (Small Cell Acquisition Request From)
2. Macro Site SARFS (Site Acquisition Request Form)
3. EME studies
This position will support the following for each project:
1. Create Documents for - SARFS / SCARFS
a. Take coordinates and justification information from RF and SPE and create a SCARF or SARF in excel form.
b. Create SCARF or SARF folder on the shared drive with common subfolders
c. Create a RF Design Template for each location and add it to the Design Document Folder.
d. Create Geoplan Location for each SARF or SCARF
2. Initiate each project in NWF using the above Geoplan location ID.
3. Complete the Site Acquisition Request task in NWF for each SARF or SCARF.
4. Initiate each project in XNG – add a site in XNG for future processing.
5. Create Geoplan Cell ID – with a standard 3 sector Site Design for future use by RF.
6. Support 1x/EVDO remedy tickets and possibly other projects like repeater optimization and TTI bundling drive test etc.
Deliverables
The position will be at a fixed location. (Location to be identified) The contractor will assist in the creation of new projects for all LTE Capacity RF and system performance related work. The contractor will report to the RF Manager.
2. Notifications of activity
Help to drive each project through the process by monitoring and providing guidance on RF Design adjustments after discussion with the responsible VZW RF Design Engineer and performance engineer.
