== JAVA/NOSQL PROGRAMMING SPECIALIST - SR. DEVELOPER ==

- expert hands-on enterprise Java software development (coding) skills, with deep understanding of concurrency and multithreading

- strong software architecture and design skills

- experience with Agile or equivalent modern SDLC methodology

- expert troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills

- significant experience with large scale systems (millions/billions transactions per day)

- strong experience working with Unix/Linux platforms, ideally RedHat and Ubuntu

- significant experience with middleware/messaging (JMS or similar)

- experience working against relational db (Oracle preferred)

- NoSQL experience: must have Hadoop/HBase; Cassandra or other is plus

- experience with modern encoding schemes (Protobufs, Avro, Thrift) a plus

- experience with systems management tools and/or telecommunications a plus

- AppDynamics (or similar application performance management platform) a plus.

- demonstrated ability to rapidly come up to speed on existing code, and contribute to project deliverables objectives

--excellent verbal and written communications skills

- ability to effectively work with minimal supervision both individually and in a team setting

- highly organized and detail oriented

- perform multiple tasks under compressed schedules and adjust focus based on workload or direction from management
