Required Skills
· 10+ years relevant experience as a Solution (or) Enterprise Architect in a fast paced environment required P&C Insurance industry experience is a big plus
· Experience in developing scalable Java Enterprise applications using open source frameworks such as Spring, Struts etc., is a must
· Understanding of Responsive Web Design using HTML5, CSS3 and Open source Javascript frameworks is required
· Experience with Mobile Apps development and Cloud based deployments is a big plus Experience in SOAP/REST based web services integration with platforms like web, mobile (smart phones, tablets)
· Understanding of software development methodologies particularly Agile is required
Skills/Roles/Responsibilities:
· Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to review and understand business requirements and IT goals
· Ability to transform business objectives into technical specifications, architectural design and road maps
· Document and review technical specifications with cross-functional teams Conduct design reviews and technical discussions (demonstrate conceptually)
· Be an integral part of the team through entire development lifecycle from inception through implementation
· Participate in COTS product evaluation including proof of concept and vendor selection
· Be a solution architect in the assigned functional domain Stay abreast with emerging trends and technologies
· Constantly review and suggest architectural improvements in Legacy Systems Make solid technical / business decisions with minimal managerial direction
· Collaborate effectively with Program Management, cross-functional teams and senior management
