We are looking for a Teradata Senior Developer to support world's leader in providing IT consulting and software services to the finest global organizations client.
This is a 3-6 months based in Sunnyvale, CA
Position: Teradata Senior Developer
Locations: Sunnyvale, CA
Duration: 3-6 months Contract
Job Description:
Expected experience range 4 to 7Yrs
Candidate should have experience in at least one of the below Tools
• Primary: Teradata
• Secondary: Business Object/corda/Tablue/Informatica/Unix
Activities include:
• Requires advanced technical knowledge and a thorough understanding of the customer needs
• Contributes to the development, delivery and maintenance of technology-based business solutions
• Review during various stages of development life cycle • Integration and System testing
• Implementation and Deployment
• Ability to respond and accept production issues and coordinate with stake holders
• Able to participate in estimations / staffing analysis and solution in order to provide inputs for solution delivery in proposals.
• Able to mentor the team in above technologies.
• Able to plan and organize team activities, prioritize and handle contingencies to meet set goals and objectives.
• Ability to do the performance tuning (Medium to Highly complex nature)
Technical skills required
· Hands on experience on teradata tools and utilities
· Ability to do coding on Teradata stored procedures and performance tuning
· Ability to design a business Object universe and reporting.
· Ability to design and code workflow for Informatica and ETL mapping.
· Expertise in designing/Implementing/TuningData Models
· Expertise in building data flow, transformation and presentation of data in BI perspective
· Ability to independently work on proposals.
· Good Knowledge of BI requirements for one or more Industry domains
