Interview Process:
· Step One: Video Interview (30-minutes): Video Interviews are scheduled through GTalk (Google). Candidate should have 2 forms of equipment (phone & computer) – Phone for voice communication and computer for video - Please inform your candidates to mute the audio on their computer. The candidate will receive a call on the number provided for the interview from the interview team for the video interview.
· Step Two: Final Team Interview - F2F Interview (if local) OR Video Interview (non-local candidates)

Job Description:
Excentus is seeking User Interface Developers to collaborate with our Marketing User Experience team to take website designs from concept to a functioning interface. This role sits between the user experience creation and back-end development; the skills of the individual include familiarity with design so they understand what is being requested by the User Experience team and deep coding experience to allow them to enable the design across browsers and devices. This requires in-depth understanding of how browser-rendering engines behave to be able to implement a design for the web that renders correctly and get all those pesky pixels to line up perfectly.
Front-End Developer:
· Front-End Developers primary responsibility will be developing the User Interface (UI) of our Member Portal Application
· Candidates must have knowledge/understanding of User Interface (UI) Design Concepts and good understanding of the Web Development process
· Technical Skills Importance: Candidates need to have a solid understanding of Object Oriented Design (OOD) Concepts & SDLC – Next: Recent experience with the following technologies: HTML, CSS, J2EE, Java, JavaScript, AJAX, and JSP
· Industry experience in Financial Services, Banking and/or Retail are a plus
· The following skills/knowledge are a PLUS: CMS and Mobile Development, Secure Coding Practices, PCI Data Security Standards, OWASP (Open Web Application Security Project)
Required Skills & Knowledge:
· Minimum of 9-10 years of Java programming
· Knowledge/Understanding of User Interface (UI) Design Concepts
· Understanding of the web development process including:
o Wire-Framing/Mockups
o Design
o Development
o Debugging
o Testing
· Great understanding of Object Oriented Design (OOD)
· Technical Skills Required: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX and JSP
· Working knowledge of Java, J2EE, JMS, Spring, Struts, and XML
· Experience with DOJO and/or Mootools is plus
· Education BS or higher in Computer Science or comparable discipline
