Role: Linux Systems Engineer
Client: AIG Global Data Center
Location: Fort Worth, TX
6 Month Contract (Very High Possibility of Extension)
Required Skills:
· Strong Experience with Linux Redhat and SUSE
· any AIX experience is going to be a big plus
· Large enterprise environment
· 80% -90% Linux with 10-20% AIX
Responsibilities:
• Ability to work independently and drive issues to resolution taking ownership.
• 5-7 years of experience with Linux.
• Ability to juggle to multiple assignments in complex and stringent environment
• Ability to develop automation using UNIX shell scripts
• Should be familiar with AIX / Linux LVM
• Must have through knowledge of zoning / masking / fabric and have skills to resolve remediation issues.
• Should be flexible to work occasional weekends: suitable prior notice will be given.
• Must be willing to work in the AIG office 5 days a week. Working from home is discouraged.
