Job Roles / Responsibilities:     

 •10+ years of technical I.T. infrastructure or operations experience.

•In-depth knowledge in WAN transport systems/services, Telecommunications systems/service, LAN switch technology (including Spanning tree, VTP domain management), routing protocols (EIGRP, OSPF, BGP4).

•Ability to manage a multi-vendor WAN, multi-protocol routing, including but not limited to NHRP ,EIGRP, BGP4, OSPF .

•Strong hands-on experience on Cisco Network Hardware like Cisco Nexus switches, Cisco ASR routers, Cisco ASA firewalls, Cisco WAN Optimizers, Cisco Autonomous/Lightweight Access Points & Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers

•Hands-on experience on Multi-vendor hardware like ACE Load Balancer, BIG IP F5 LTM load balancers, NetScaller  .

•Hands-on experience in some of or all following areas HSRP, QoS,  SSL VPN/Ipsec VPN, Wireless technologies, DHCP management, Firewall skills,  F5 load balancers.

•Demonstrate ability to manage multiple projects in an efficient manner.

•Proven experience of LAN/WAN/Security design & implementation experience.

• Minimum Cisco CCNP certification is recommended.

• In depth knowledge of EIGRP, OSPF, BGP routing protocols, including troubleshooting.

• Must have specific experience configuring and troubleshooting Cisco Routers/Switches(Nexus)/ACE/ASA/ Wireless Controller. Load balancer F5 and Riverbed (Wan Optimizer).

• Knowledge on Info blox(DNS & DHCP) and Gigamon is a added advantage or Engineer should show interest in learning these technologies.

• Experience in current Network monitoring and troubleshooting techniques, including Cisco Net flow, SNMP/RMON monitoring tools, packet sniffing, protocol analysis and bandwidth utilization.

• Working technical knowledge of current systems software, protocols, and standards, including TCP/IP,   DNS, WINS and DHCP .

• Experience with telecommunications carriers for maintaining and troubleshooting WAN circuits.

• Disaster recovery and fault tolerance engineering experience.

• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. *

• Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Change control and process engineering skills. *

• Adept at reading, writing, and interpreting technical documentation and procedure manuals.

 

CCNP, CCDP or CCIE is preferred
