Duties & Responsibilites :	It is mandatory for all the vendors to provide the details below while sharing the resume Consultant Name: Current Location:  Phone:  Email:  Work Authorization :  Rate:  Relocation: Candidates must be local. -This is a sustaining developer role working with a legacy VB6 client/server application. You will need strong SQL skills, unit testing skills, strong ability to dig in and resolve issues, a self-starter, and be a fast learner to excel in this role. -Within the context of the existing system create and modify code that meets design specifications, follows standards, and is easy to maintain -Test and peer review code for technical accuracy, standards, and functional compliance to the design -Provide technical assistance and technical training to other departments and peers as required -Work with Quality Assurance team to ensure that the product is fully tested -Work with Documentation to see that all enhancements, bug fixes, and new products are documented -Work with Product Management team to ensure appropriate project requirements are met -Participate in and often lead a Development team that is responsible for developing quality software -Initiate and implement complex technical designs spanning multiple application tiers -Mentor and train entry-level software engineers -Perform other duties as assigned  -5+ Years experience with Visual Basic 6 application and DLL coding/debugging of client/server software solutions -Microsoft SQL Server queries and stored procedures -Enjoy working with others in a team atmosphere - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills -Enjoy maintaining/enhancing code to meet changing customer/industry needs -Have a "customer-focused" orientation -BA/BS or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent industry experience Required Skills: SQL Server,VB.NET. VB6 Interview Process: In Person
