Role: Weblogic Administrator                 

Contract 1 year

Location: West Chester, PA

Phone/Skype Hire

 

Professional Requirements
• 8-10 years of Weblogic administration (10.3.5. 11C)
• 8-10 years Operations management experience (ideally in a 24x7 environment) with outage and incident management
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills (great team player with the ability to work independently)
• Experience supporting Weblogic Servers in a Linux operating environment
• Experience working in a UNIX environment
• Good scripting knowledge, either Perl, Shell, wlst.

Education Requirements
• Education Level: Bachelor's Degree
• Field of Study: Engineering, Computer Science
• Years' Experience: Generally requires 8-10 years of experience

Desired Skill Set
• Someone who has worked with in various capacities of Weblogic administration in a large, fast-paced corporate environment

Responsibilities
• Attending daily status meetings, providing updates
• Work on Weblogic environment build out and support
• Responding to e-mails promptly; taking ownership of the platform and being accountable to stakeholders
• Interfacing with and reporting to management
