Job Description :

Must Have:

·         Proven knowledge of the mainframe computing platform from the architecture and the infrastructure perspective

·         Infrastructure Inventory Management

·         Resource Scheduling

·         Resource Capacity Planning

·         Data Flow Diagrams

·         System Dependency Maps

·         Infrastructure Heat Maps

·         Data Maintenance Procedures

·         Network Topology Maps

·         Experience in building up end-to-end environments

·         Mainframe

·         Distributed

·         Understanding of the total software delivery process and logistics supporting it:

·         Change Management

·         Release Management

·         Capacity Management

·         Analytic ability to perform root cause analysis / "Out of the box thinking"

·         Good, clear communication skills – oral and written

 

Highly Desirable:

·         Knowledge of the distributed computing platform from the architecture and the infrastructure perspective

·         Data Center Operations Experience

·         Network Operations Experience

·         Experience in batch cycle scheduling and monitoring

 

Nice To Have:

·         Inventory management tools such as Rational Asset Analyzer (RAA)

·         ITIL 3 Certification / Knowledge

·         Mainframe capacity planning experience System Administration experience for any of the following:

CICS

DB2

MQ

zOS

Oracle

Sybase

Unix / Linux
