Job Description:
Our client is an online service enabling home buyers to view properties online and connect with the best real estate agents in the business. As we extend our business, we are looking for a "hands-on Data Analytics Engineer to build our Data Analytics platform and Recommendation & Personalization engine. Responsibilities: Provide technical leadership to a small group of engineers across geographical boundaries in an innovative and fast-paced environment Develop and maintain ETL processes Develop and maintain data aggregation jobs Develop interactive dashboards, reports Model data and metadata for ad hoc and canned reporting
Key Qualifications: BA / BS in Computer Science or equivalent practice experience 2+ years of at least one scripting language Java or Python Demonstrated expertise in Data Analytics platform Experience with NOSQL technologies like MongoDB, Cassandra, Hadoop, Spark, HDFS, Parquet, and data visualization tools like Tableau, QlikView, etc. highly desired Demonstrated System thinking and expertise in more than one layer of a multi-tier architecture Demonstrated expertise in problem solving and technical innovation. Demonstrated expertise with software architecture & design, data structures and algorithms Demonstrated expertise in Agile software development methodology. Demonstrated expertise leading engineers remotely and conduct technical deep dives into design and code to deliver high quality product and services Adaptable to the changing needs of the organization Strong written and verbal communication skills
